CODE OF ETHICS
As a journalist with a responsibility to society I adhere to the following code of ethics that govern my reporting:
Plagiarism
Avoids plagiarism at all times and ensures that content is unique and not duplicated from another source.
Source and Fact Checking
Facts would be checked out to ensure that it stems from a verified source and will be double checked for accuracy.
Permissions
Permission will be taken before conducting any interviews with an adult or child for a story about his/her welfare.
Impartiality
Impartiality in reporting fairly, justly and accurately will be upheld at all times to ensure that information that is disseminated is honestly conveyed.
Media Freedom
Defends the rights of freedom of expression and the public to be informed in an honest and accurate manner.
